One of my favorite types of portraits to create is the executive portrait. There are so many great businesspeople who have lousy portraits that don't represent who they are or what they do at all. I love creating images for clients that really represent their personality, style and business.
A couple of months ago I had the honor of photographing Yan TIng. Yan sent me some fashion and beauty photos from magazine as inspiration for what she wanted for her portrait. We had a blast and she absolutely LOVES her portraits. Sandra Downie did her makeup and it looked awesome. I always recommend investing in a professional makeup application for your executive portrait.
Today she sent me a copy of how her advertisement looks in a local natural health magazine in Westport, CT. Here's how it looks.
